A New Beginning

A Sneak-Peak of the Wedding Photography
by Clint Wandell

My blog title is a little different. As all of you very well know, I am now a married woman. And this means? A new chapter of life, a clean slate, a new house, a new husband, and new responsibilities. So now as a subtitle, my blog begins "A New Chapter".

So far this new journey has been exciting. Our wedding day was by far the most beautiful day I could have imagined. And yes, all my dreams did come true! It was the perfect day in my eyes. Yes, I was nervous, but that was quickly pushed away with excitement as I walked down the aisle to see my handsome groom flooded with tears of joy. Mm, it was so emotional. So dramatic. Kind of like a dream. I didn't notice who was in attendance until after - and even then... well, let's just say I was overwhelmed with joy and love that I mostly noticed my brand new husband. :)

I wish the day had never ended, but the time came that we needed to run away to the honeymoon. On our way to our first hotel I basically felt ready to crash. We didn't stop talking about how wonderful our wedding was the whole honeymoon. We STILL are talking about it - and from what I hear, so is everybody else! Hehe. Our honeymoon was amazing as well and I will be posting pictures soon of all the places we went.

And now, here I sit in my new home. All alone right at the moment. As soon as we got back from our mini vacation, we got right to work at moving more of our stuff into the apartment. Our bed was still at my parent's house, so of course we needed that first! Sleeping on the floor was not an option. ;P I am glad to say though, that now, we have most of our new home set up and looking warm and cozy. :) I was able to talk Kyle into stopping at a primitives shop in North Conway while we were on our honeymoon, so I got a few things to decorate with. I've been collecting things, too, over the past few years, so we aren't lacking too much with the wedding gifts being included as well. Just a few furniture items and we will be set.

Yesterday was our LONG day of shopping. Like, the kind of shopping where you need to get everything because you don't have it... that kind of shopping. For instance, toilet paper, laundry basket, FOOD, light bulbs, trash cans, bathroom rug... I think you get the picture. I believe that is the first time I have ever filled a cart so full. And I have to hand it to Kyle, he is getting really good at shopping. My kind of shopper. Check the unit price, look at the clearance rack at Target... no high fructose corn syrup in the ingredients... mhm. He's good.

Anyway, I need to wrap this up. It's going to be a late night since Kyle got called to work after his planned route. Dinner will be more like a midnight snack. Lol.
